What is a Naturopathic Doctor?
A naturopathic doctor is a healthcare practitioner who focuses on using natural remedies and non-invasive treatments to support the body’s healing abilities. They emphasize prevention and holistic approaches to health, considering the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of an individual.
The educational path includes:
Prerequisite coursework: Undergraduate studies in sciences such as biology, chemistry, and physiology, among others.

In addition to a standard medical curriculum in the basic, clinical sciences, and diagnostic techniques, NDs complete additional training in naturopathic philosophy, botanical medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, physical medicine, and counseling.
Clinical training: Students receive hands-on experience in a clinical setting, working with patients under the supervision of licensed naturopathic doctors.
